Hotel Fasano São Paulo
Address: Rua Vittorio Fasano, 88 - Jardins
CEP: 01414-020 - São Paulo - Brazil
Vittorio Fasano immigrated from Milan more than 100 years ago, and started a tradition of excellence in cuisine.
Recently, his great-grandson, Rogerio Fasano, still proprietor of the restaurants of the family, managed to realize another Fasano family's dream: run the most attractive hotel in São Paulo.
Fasano Hotel and Restaurant resulted from a partnership between Rogério Fasano and João Paulo Diniz, brother of ex-pilot of Formula One Pedro Paulo Diniz, and member of another traditional family in São Paulo, owner of a large supermarket chain. The design by Isay Weinfeld and Marcio Kogan is a recreation of the 1930s and 1940s styles. Elegant architecture combines comtemporary design with classical details, such as period furniture, Italian travertine marble and English brickwork of the facade.
The Hotel houses the options: Fasano, rated South America's best restaurant for Italian cuisine; the Baretto Bar, a cozy place for cool music and jazz of the highest international standards; and Nonno Ruggero, pleasant hall with a terrace, where breakfast is served and, for lunch and dinner, an Italian trattoria is available.
The Hotel is located in São Paulo's most elegant neighborhood, Jardins, strategically positioned between Avenida Paulista and Avenida Faria Lima. Nearby stores include Louis Vitton, Tiffany, Emporio Armani, Bulgari and Cartier, besides some of the top Brazilian brands.
The hotel offers 50 apartments (area from 35 to 45m²); 8 suites (75 to 115m²); and 2 double-room suites (140m²) with panoramic view of the city. All suites have plasma TV, workstation with internet broadband and a bathroom.
The top three floors are reserved for fitness and relax: swimming pool with warm water, two Japanese ofuros, dry and wet saunas, fitness room and a massage clinic.
Non-smoking floors and wheelchair-accessible room are available.
